ProllyROB Presents: Digital Fibers
The idea for this piece came to me when I was playing around with a neat little program called “GrandPerspective” for macs. When you run this program it searches your whole hard drive and then spits out a visual representation of every file on the hard drive. See below.
The bigger the boxes are, the larger that files size is. I really liked how colorful it was so I took the image it created and put my own twist on it.
I call it “Digital Fibers”. I created this effect with the art history brush and then added the apple logo on top.
